Detailed Description

KVIT Optima M 400 is an industrial 120-400 kW pellet burner for large industrial facilities and boiler houses. A self-cleaning cascade grate block and the Double Air system ensure complete fuel combustion and high efficiency in continuous operation. The lined combustion chamber is made of AISI 310s heat-resistant stainless steel and designed for maximum thermal loads. Control is via a PLUM ecoTOUCH 850 touchscreen controller with cascade mode; the burner runs on wood pellets and agro-pellets.

Burner Application

Suitable for large production plants, boiler houses, greenhouse complexes and heat-supply systems of roughly up to 4000 m², where high thermal output is needed with autonomous operation and minimal maintenance. Designed for continuous operation under constant load.

Delivery Set

  • KVIT Optima M 400 burner, assembled
  • PLUM ecoTOUCH 850 controller
  • Ceramic ignition element
  • Pellet feed auger
  • Mounting kit for installation on the boiler
  • Installation and operation manual

Key Advantages of the Model

  • Self-cleaning cascade grate block
  • Double Air system for complete combustion
  • Lined chamber of AISI 310s heat-resistant steel
  • Cascade control and PLUM ecoTOUCH 850 touchscreen controller
  • Runs on wood pellets and agro-pellets

How Pellet Burners Work

A pellet burner operates on the principle of automatic fuel feeding: pellets are carried from the hopper by an auger conveyor into the combustion chamber, where a ceramic element ignites them without an open flame or manual lighting. A fan forces in air to ensure complete combustion and high efficiency, while ash falls through self-cleaning cascade grates, reducing the need for maintenance. An electronic controller regulates the fuel and air feed based on the set temperature, maintaining stable, economical operation in a fully automatic mode.
