Detailed Description
KVIT Optima M 1000 is an industrial 300-1000 kW (1 MW) pellet burner for large industrial facilities, boiler houses and district heating systems. A self-cleaning cascade grate block and the Double Air system ensure complete fuel combustion and high efficiency in continuous operation. The lined combustion chamber is made of AISI 310s heat-resistant stainless steel and designed for maximum thermal loads. Control is via a PLUM ecoTOUCH 850 touchscreen controller with cascade mode; the burner runs on wood pellets and agro-pellets.
Burner Application
Suitable for large production plants, boiler houses, greenhouse complexes and district heating systems of up to 1 MW, where maximum thermal output is needed with autonomous operation and minimal maintenance. Designed for continuous operation under constant load.

How Pellet Burners Work
A pellet burner operates on the principle of automatic fuel feeding: pellets are carried from the hopper by an auger conveyor into the combustion chamber, where a ceramic element ignites them without an open flame or manual lighting. A fan forces in air to ensure complete combustion and high efficiency, while ash falls through self-cleaning cascade grates, reducing the need for maintenance. An electronic controller regulates the fuel and air feed based on the set temperature, maintaining stable, economical operation in a fully automatic mode.
